What is GDPR?
GDPR is a European Union law that aims to strengthen and unify data protection rules and rights for EU citizens. It applies to EU organizations and non-EU organizations that provide goods and services to the EU or use tracking technologies to monitor EU users’ behavior.
1. Personal Information – What We Collect and Why
We utilize tracking technologies to provide specific site features, services, applications, and tools. You are always free to block, delete, or disable these technologies if your browser, application, or device allows. However, declining cookies or similar technologies may limit your access to certain features.
These technologies generally store and read relevant information in your browser or device to identify you to our servers or internal systems. We protect our cookies and similar technologies to ensure only we and/or authorized service providers can interpret them using unique identifiers.
Google Analytics
Like most websites, we use Google Analytics (GA) to track user interactions. This data helps us understand how many people use our site, how they find and use our web pages, and their journey through the website.
GA records data such as your geographical location, device, browser, and operating system, but this information does not personally identify you to us. While GA also records your IP address, which could be used to identify you, Google does not grant us access to this information.
GA uses cookies. For more details, refer to Google’s developer guides. Our website uses the analytics.js implementation of GA. Disabling cookies in your browser will prevent GA from tracking your visit to our site.
Contact and Support Forms
When you use our contact forms, your information is stored in our backend, collated into an email, and sent to us via WPForms. WPForms does not store IP addresses, User Agents, or Cookies.
The information in the email is automatically transferred to our CRM system and attached to any existing account with a similar email address or created as a new contact to fulfill your request.
Website Cookies
We treat information collected by cookies and other technologies as non-personal information. However, if IP addresses or similar identifiers are considered personal information by local law, we treat them as such. Similarly, if non-personal information is combined with personal information, we treat the combined information as personal information.
If you have a login for our Customer login, we automatically collect and store data related to any input or submission you provide on the site.
2. How Long We Store Your Information
We retain your personal information as needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in our ‘Consent’ or until you withdraw your consent. These purposes include keeping you updated on product announcements, software updates, white papers, blogs, webinars, and events.
You can always contact us to request the erasure of your personal data from our databases (see Section 6). We will respond without undue delay (and within one month in most cases, although this may be extended in complex situations).
3. Data Breaches
We will report any unlawful data breach of our website’s database or any third-party data processors’ databases to relevant individuals and authorities within 72 hours if it is apparent that personal data stored in an identifiable manner has been stolen.
4. Data Controller
The data controller of this website is: Banke ApS, Danish Company Company number (CVR): 32773974, Registered office: Mellemvej 20, Nordborg, DK6430, Denmark
