About Banke classics & private vehicles
We’ve been building large lithium-ion battery packs and electric drivelines for heavy-duty vehicles since 2010.
Our roots lie in developing electric power take-off (E-PTO) systems, which power the onboard hydraulic systems on heavy vehicles. Typical applications are truck-mounted cranes and refuse collection vehicles. The E-PTOs substitute traditional diesel-engine-powered PTOs.
Beyond our E-PTO solutions, we also make complete battery-electric and fuel-cell-electric power trains for commercial vehicles.

Our Approach
We offer standard kits for specific vehicles with high-degree options and variants. Our kits can be customized, or for B2B customers we can build you a new system from scratch. We offer long list of options for customisation including battery pack size, power steering, AC, etc.
Battery Pack
We'll make it fit! Currently optimized for seamless mechanical integration with Land Rovers and VW Beetles, our battery packs will fit into most classics. We offer packs ranging from 10 kWh to 100 kWh. If you want something specific; tell us about your idea.
Motor / Inverter Systems
We offer standard AC-motors, SRIPM-motors as well as PM-motors. Each motor is paired and optimised with the most suitable inverter/motor controller for your powertrain. Voltages range from 96 VDC - 800 VDC and power levels range from 30 kW to 250 kW power. Endless torque.
Charging
Our systems offer various charging options. High voltage systems support AC charging between 3 kW and 22 kW. DC fast charging is available in our high voltage systems. Low voltage systems allow AC charging only, ranging from 3.5 kW to 11kW charging power.
Powertrain Control
We deliver the powertrain controller ready for integration with your vehicle ECU or analog vehicle interface. Please talk to us about customization possibilities.
Battery Types
We work with two lithium-Ion battery types: LFP and NMC. Always fully protected on cell level with an automotive standard battery management system.
Dashboard Options
Whatever you need. We can integrate with the vehicles original dashboard as far as possible, provide a discrete separate screen for extra information and powertrain diagnostics, or we provide a new customised solution with maximum functionality.
